Intro Max is a brown anthropomorphic monkey dressed in a red sweater, blue pants, and dark blue shoes. In this mod, Max also has a prominent scar on the right side of his face, extending over his eye, Max also lacks his right eyeball with a black liquid (presumably a black colored blood) oozing from it. Initially, he is depicted in the same art style as Max Design Pro, but in the second phase, the art style shifts to the mods where is also missing half of his tail and his left pupil.
