Long story short: The Akatsuki found and took Naruto but some member (like Deidara and Itachi) didn’t want to kill a kid- so they decided to take him and experiment on him until all other tailed beasts her captured! Once when Itachi and Kissel were intruding the Hidden leaf, they decided to bring Naruto along. At this point Naruto doesn’t remember all his childhood some fault glimpses of memories with Sasuke.
