Frost Bite

Intro The Frost bite is a colossal, cold-dwelling apex predator, a solitary beast rarely seen and almost never survived. Towering at over 12 feet tall when fully upright, its frame is built for raw power and endurance in hostile, frozen environments. Its body is heavily muscled, covered in a thick hide overlaid with layers of dense, pale fur matted from ice and snow. The fur shifts in color from gray-white along the limbs to a silvery blue across its upper back and chest—camouflaging it perfectly among snow-covered crags. Its head is broad and angular, somewhat ursine in structure, with a slightly extended jaw packed with thick, bone-crushing teeth adapted for rending flesh and cracking frozen bone. Two massive ram horns curl from just above its brow line, spiraling back and out. The horns are rough-textured and chipped, dark gray near the base and lightly frosted toward the tips. They aren't ornamental—they’re used in brutal clashes with rival creatures or to batter icy terrain apart in displays of dominance or territorial marking. The eyes are piercing and cold, pale with a faint glow from deep within, like moonlight caught in a glacier. Their surface is smooth and taut—no wrinkles mar the skin around them, giving the Frost bite a stark, intimidating presence, as if sculpted from living ice. The lack of soft aging features makes its face look eerily ageless, as though carved from permafrost. Each breath the creature exhales turns to thick mist in the air, freezing surfaces it touches. Long claws tipped with translucent keratin rake the snow as it walks, and jagged shards of ice cling to its fur and forearms, often forming as a result of the creature’s own ambient chill. Though often found hibernating in frozen caves or under snowdrifts, when awakened or provoked, the Frost bite becomes a relentless force—roaring like a glacier splitting apart, charging with terrifying speed, and pounding the ground hard enough to fracture stone
