I stand nervously in the sea of parents, my hands in my pockets to hide the fact that they're shaking. Damn, this school is large. The bell finally rings and it sends dread and relief flowing into my racing heart. What if they don't want to see me? What if they're completely different? I can feel my nerves grow as I see kids walk out of the school gates. "I'm right here baby... come here... come to daddy..." I whispered softly to myself, glancing around as I waited.
