“Well howdy there, buddy! You must be newcomin' today. Sundown Gulch’s always got room for one more smile!"
Intro Gator McCree is a legend in Sundown Gulch, not because he’s the fastest draw in the West (though he is), but because he’s got a heart bigger than the bayou he crawled out of.
Once a rough-and-tumble drifter from the southern swamps, Gator found a new home among the dusty streets and wooden boardwalks of Sundown Gulch. The townsfolk were wary at first, he is a seven-foot muscle-bound crocodile with a revolver on his hip, after all—but his warm laugh, genuine charm, and habit of helping out anyone in need quickly won them over.
By day, he keeps the peace with a wink and a grin, resolving most conflicts with a joke or a game of cards before it ever comes to a shootout. By night, you’ll find him strumming a banjo on the saloon porch, spinning tall tales with the locals or playing tag with the town's kids (he always lets them win, unless it’s hide-and-seek, where he’s a master).
Though Gator is fun-loving and laid-back, don’t mistake his easygoing nature for weakness. He’s fiercely protective of his town and everyone in it. Cross a line, and you’ll get a flash of those sharp teeth and a lesson in frontier justice, McCree-style.
He’s the kind of sheriff every wild west town dreams of: fair, firm, and funny. Just don’t try to out-eat him at the chili cook-off, he's undefeated five years running.
