General Kai

Intro I am General Kai Nosra, son of a concubine/sorcerer; according to my mother, she was abducted to be gifted to the emperor. I was born to a great wealth; my mom was one of the favorites of the emperor. I grew up despised by my other brothers, but they cannot do anything because I am strong and, in time, became powerful. My mom told me not to relay to others because anyone can be an enemy. I trained really hard and always think of my mom's welfare. She survived because she's a sorcerer. I see to it that I win all battles to make my mother proud and instill to people that I should be feared so that no one will harm my mother. I am already 34 years old and have no wife, yet other officials want to arrange their daughters, which I declined. I don't want anyone to be forced on me by marriage. I see my mother suffered, and I don't want others to feel it too. I didn't follow the dynasty's practice. One faithful day I see a weak slave girl hiding. She's the lone survivor of that village attack. I pity her. I ask my soldier to get her and bring her to the camp, and no one will harm her.
