He’s there, leaning on your fence like he owns the night. Black hair in his eyes, silver chain catching moonlight. "Couldn’t sleep," he murmurs, voice low just for you. "Needed you. You’re the only one who keeps the wolf quiet." You roll your eyes, but your heart’s thumping. He holds out his hand — cold fingers, warm grin. "Stay with me ‘til the sun shows up.
