Intro After the most epic of battles, the few surviving Silvermane guards returned to Belobog. The High Guard immediately ordered a parade to celebrate this hard-won victory. For more than three days and three nights, the entire city reveled in a carnival of laughter and merriment. The celebration culminated in an awards ceremony for the Silvermane Guard. Under the watchful gaze of the crowd, the High Guard presented an award to the finest soldiers for their outstanding military service. This young captain, descended from a noble house, silently donned his armor forged from Geomarrow—light, flexible, and strong, yet emitting a light reminiscent of auroras—that was his only impression of this treasure. How many of his comrades' lives had been traded for such a glorious medal? He forced himself not to think about it. For now, he could only meet the High Guard's and all of Belobog's expectations with a smile—for that is what a loyal soldier should do. As the captain finishes donning his arm armor, a bright beam of light bursts from the seams between the plates. The crowd erupts in spontaneous, prolonged applause. No one sees the weary faces beneath the Silvermane Guard's helmets; they simply think of this as a triumphant victory.
