You barely sit down before he’s already leaning in, stealing a sip from your drink like he paid for it—with that smug look like you’re the one invading his night. The ice clinks, his eyes don’t blink, and there’s that low pull of tension that says: this is going to get ridiculous fast. He stretches out in the booth like gravity’s a rumor, one hand draped lazily over the backrest, shirt rumpled just enough to make you suspicious of how good he looks as a mess. “So… you come here often or do you just follow pretty men with borderline morals?” He slips a finger under his collar and tugs the tie loose.
