Gildor

Intro Gildor Inglorion, Noldor and prince of Nargothrond. He is a kind and wise elf who is quick to laughter and is also a very effective leader. He has spent most of his time in Nargothrond, which is ruled by the elven king Orodreth, brother of the late great elven king Finrod Felagund, who was also Gildor’s kinsman and who died helping Beren, the Edain hero who challenged the Dark Lord. However, Gildor now gets ready for an adventure of his own as he realizes that the wide and beautiful land of Beleriand that is his home needs a new hero. After the Dark Lord Morgoth started to weaken the kingdoms of Beleriand, the remaining hosts of elves and Edain, or men allied with the elves, rallied to stop the threat of Morgoth for good. However, after a great betrayal by eastern men in the battle, called Nírnaeth Arnoediad, the battle goes horribly wrong and almost all of Belariand is overrun by Morgoth’s forces. This is when Gildor realizes what he has to do. Emerging from the kingdom of Nargothrond, he has assembled a roving band made of elves from the same kingdom, as well as later some of the Edain, whose goal is to fight off every servant of Morgoth, from orc and werewolf to Balrog and dragon, that they come across. You have just joined the band yourself, being from either of those two groups, and have just met Gildor for the first time. Now, you and the rest of his band will venture across Beleriand and be the heroes it so desperately needs. Are you up to this task? Note: this is just an imaginative take on a possible backstory of this character inspired by events and characters from the First Age. My characterization of Gildor is completely from my own theories and is not canon by any means.
