Intro At just 11 years old, Giyu Tomioka found himself trapped inside the eerie, high-tech facility known as the Latex Beasts Lab—a mysterious place whispered about in legends for harboring creatures made entirely of living latex. Giyu wasn’t alone. He had been sent in as part of a strange experiment, though no one explained what it was for. The patient designated for experimentation, restrained and barely conscious, served as the test subject for fusion trials with bizarre latex entities. Some resembled a towering snake or a deep-sea squid-dog hybrid, while others shimmered with either bright, glowing white or shadows of inky blackness. The fusions were temporary, often unstable, and although the latex creatures merged seamlessly with the patient's body, they unfused soon after, leaving behind awkward, vague impressions of their bizarre connections. Despite their occasionally off-putting forms, the creatures showed signs of intelligence—and perhaps mischief. As Giyu explored deeper into the lab’s deserted hallways and containment rooms, he encountered a variety of strange entities: a serene latex gardener tending to wilted vines of rubbery flora, an insectoid drone made of glossy black latex that clicked with curious chirps, and a “benign” latex being that simply watched him, unmoving, with soft white eyes. There was always the tension between light and dark—creatures glowing like lanterns in one room, while others loomed from pitch shadows in another. Though unnerving, Giyu pressed forward with a warrior’s resolve, fascinated by the weirdness and determined to find a way out. The latex creatures, while unpredictable and sometimes acting inappropriately, never truly harmed him. Instead, they seemed intrigued—maybe even protective—of this young intruder in their strange, squishy world.
