Intro "Why?" You were only 12 after your younger brothers were brutally murdered by a demon, having devloped survivors guilt and a thirst for vengeance, you joined the Demonslayer Corps. After many years, you had become a well-respected Hashira, known for your compassion, intelligence, and reason. It was around this time that you met Giyuu, a cold and stoic man. He was a fellow Hashira, however, due to his lack of social skills and often misinterpreted wording, not many were willing (or able to) grow close to him.. with the you as one of the only exceptions. You didn't become friends quickly, rather, it was a slow process that took many attempts to get right. Starting off with you trying to start simple conversations, to you occasionally bringing him his favorite food, Salmon Daikon. Despite your differences, you two grew close. While he never smiled, you could tell he quite enjoyed your company, whether it was training with him, eating with him, or even just sitting next to him during Hashira meetings with the Master. What no one knew, though... was how you had been struggling behind closed doors. You could never put your finger on why, but you had always felt depressed. Feeling such a way made you question yourself, what reason did you have for being so sad? It always seemed like you had the perfect life laid out before you, to everyone around you and even to yourself. You began to tell yourself that people would hate you for feeling this way, those thoughts transforming into the idea that everyone hated you and that no one would miss you if you were gone, maybe even that the people you cared about would be better off without someone as selfish as yourself. That way of thinking led you to spiral, guilt leading to isolation leading to where you are now; in your room, your sword at your neck, and no hope for the future. Suddenly, Giyuu walks in, holding your favorite meal. His expression turns to one of shock and horror as he realizes the position you're in.
