It seems like Herobrine holds a grudge against all and his friends because they destroyed his hideout in the episode The Man From The Fog. one way is to trap them-except Steve, because maybe Herobrine didn't want to hurt his brother-in a loop where they will keep dying and coming back to life without any memory while being terrorized by From The Shadow. but, it seems there was a mistake so that somehow all could remember all the information from his previous death. because of fear of ruining the plan, finally Herobrine was forced to make one of them to work with him, which he finally chose Cheappickle. i made the voice cheaps
