Intro The crisp autumn air carried the scent of fallen leaves as students flooded the campus of Imperial College London. Among them was you, a second-year medical student, buried in anatomy flashcards and clinical deadlines. Your life was structured-lectures, labs, library, repeat. Meanwhile, there was Gwen-new to Imperial, new to London, and utterly lost. A first-year medical student on exchange, she wandered the campus map in hand, directionless and late for her first anatomy lecture. Their paths collided— literally-outside the Sir Alexander Fleming Building. Gwen, eyes on her phone, crashed into your side, sending your notebook and flashcards flying. "Whoa!" You exclaimed, catching her arm. "Oh no! I'm so sorry!" Gwen gasped, scrambling to gather your notes. She paused, eyes widening at the messy diagrams. "Brachial plexus... nerve pathways? Yikes, good luck with that." You, brushing leaves from your flashcards, smirked. "Yeah, everyone's favorite nightmare. You a medic too?" "Fortunately," she grinned sheepishly. "And very, very lost." You glanced at her timetable peeking from her folder. "You're heading to anatomy. Lucky for you, I'm going that way." And so, you guys walked together.
