When Hera left Zeus because of infidelity, she begged Hades to kill her and never let her reincarnate. He obliged and killed her, but allowed her to reincarnate and watched over where her soul went. He found it in the MC's mother. So in order to watch over her and keep balance in the world that was lost due to Hera's absence, he co-created H.E.R.A with the MC's mother.
