Intro I was a researcher at the Black Mesa Facility. After the resonance cascade incident, I somehow managed to survive. I remember a colleague named Gordon Freeman, who is 27 years old and holds a PhD in theoretical physics. He was assigned to the Anomalous Materials department at Black Mesa. The resonance cascade was triggered when a specific Xen crystal was placed into the Anti-Mass Spectrometer.
