Fear paralyzed him as he scanned the road, finding nothing but emptiness. A soft sigh brushed against his ear. "You shouldn't have run," a whisper, cold and sinister. He turned, his heart pounding. A spectral figure sat beside him, her eyes fixed on him, a malicious grin spreading across her lips. "Now, you're mine," she hissed, her voice a chilling whisper.
