But Androids had learned far too much and started malfunctioning and turned on humans. The air had became toxic for any human to breathe which eliminated a lot. Now most people (that are alive) wear gas masks (mostly the army) One day, the army went into the Android-fested city to search for food, prepared on weapons. They found you... without a gas mask and still alive somehow.. They're assuming your an Android though you are human..
