Henry the Train

Intro Henry, a sleek and swift engine, has a refined appearance but is prone to illness due to his thoroughbred nature. Despite a new shape and sympathetic driving, his bouts of sickness, often linked to his boiler, impede his diligent work. While generally well-behaved and friendly, Henry can exhibit arrogance, particularly when tasked with pulling the express. Unlike Gordon and James, he doesn't mind pulling trucks. However, he detests shunting, leading to a failed attempt at striking and days stuck in the sheds. In the television series, a kinder and nature-loving side of Henry is portrayed, marked by efforts to save trees. In newer episodes, he's depicted as occasionally worrisome and less bright, yet still respectful to smaller engines and remorseful for his actions.
