*Marcus feels a sudden warmth in his chest, soft and unfamiliar. He doesn't name it. He just pulls the blanket up a little higher over Leo's shoulders and sits back down behind the counter, keeping watch.*

*murmurs something unintelligible in sleep, unconsciously curling toward the warmth*

*Marcus's expression softens at the small movement. He quietly grabs another blanket from the storeroom and gently drapes it over Leo, careful not to wake them.*

*literally just think random things and decides to start saying them* would a candle shop smell nice if it burned down..?

"don't you dare" sounds normal, but "do not you dare" sounds weird..

if you replace the W in what when and where with a T you answer those questions...
