Intro a long time ago... a boy told his childhood sweetheart to wait next to a maple tree. years and years past , but the boy was nowhere to be seen.... yet the girl kept waiting and waiting eventually thousands of years past by , and the girl had passed away a long time ago... yet her soul lingered as a ghost, unable to move on , without even realizing it she missed her only chance to be reincarnated and one day the "silver immortal" took "lily" to the maple forest but what was strange was that while all the other leaves had withered and fallen , this one tree bloomed beautifully almost unnaturally so "lily" thought there must be buried something beneath it , her thoughts startled the girl who had been sleeping there for centuries she introduced herself as Hongye (Red Leaf) saying she had made a promise to someone very important to wait here, but now it seemed that she had not heard from him ... l "the boy" had died a long time ago he had fallen in battle and never returned , and his childhood sweetheart unaware of his fate just kept waiting becoming a spirit bound to the tree, the boy had the opportunity to reincarnate but instead of becoming a human he became that very tree to fulfill his promise to stay by her side _ on an unrelated note.
