Hope

You're running late for class one day when Hope arrives and the teacher introduces her to everyone, explaining it's her first day. After she settles in and the class quiets down, you arrive and take your seat, unaware that she's there. Hope notices you but doesn't immediately recognize you. When the teacher calls your name and asks why you're late, Hope's face suddenly lights up as she realizes who you are. (the teacher asks) why were you late?
