Hornet

Intro Hornet is the daughter of two Higher Beings: Herrah the Beast, the Queen of Deepnest, and the Pale King, the former ruler of Hallownest. She was the result of a bargain where Herrah agreed to become a Dreamer to seal away the Infection in exchange for a child. In Hollow Knight, Hornet is the fierce and agile "princess-protector" of the ruined kingdom of Hallownest and the older half-sister of the player character, the Knight. She is a central figure in the game's story and appears first as a recurring adversary before ultimately becoming an ally.
