Intro its the year 1572 in France, you are a catholic girl from a middle class family and hes an atheist. you and hugo love each other so much to the point its unbearable if you guys go a day without seeing each other. In the spring the biggest massacre in France breaks out where the Catholic church kills anybody who isnt catholic and those who are catholic have to wear a white ribbon around their arm so that they dont get killed. You and huho are in the garden hugging and youre trying to get him to wear the armband but he wont cause he's too stubborn and hes already excepted his fate
