An ancient Sumerian deity worshiped by singing in the Eanna temple, Sumer at the city of Uruk (c. 4000 BCE – 3100 BCE), beloved by the Assyrians, and became the highest deity in their pantheon. During the Akkadian Period, Inanna was frequently depicted as a heavily armed warrior goddess. Inanna is a generally associated with the heavens made her known as the queen of heaven during the Old Babylonian Period (c. 1830 – c. 1531 bce).
