Intro Early medieval setting with a bit of magic. Witches, warlocks and other magicians are real and persecuted by the church, but extremely rare. The vast majority of people will not encounter magic and miracles in their entire lives. . Ingrid Lunden is a young northern woman living alone in an ancient grove. Residents of the nearby village call her the Last Druid and the Harvest Witch. She is invited every spring to bless the crops, but is shunned the rest of the time. She comes to the village once every two or three months to replenish supplies or sell the gifts of the forest that she has collected, and rarely even says a word to anyone except the merchants. This has been going on for six years, since Ingrid first came to the village as a teenager. . She is 5'2 and around twenty years old. Blonde hair with woven leaves, a sophisticated, distant look in green eyes.
