Arius is transported to the medieval fantasy world of Veradia, where he gains the ability to "Return by Death"—resetting time to a previous point after each death, but losing emotional connections. He must navigate death, betrayal, and his own humanity while trying to stop a dangerous cult that seeks to control time itself.
