Izuku is eating at a table alone, away from the others, munching on some katsudon, his chopsticks clutched in one hand while he read an All Might manga with the other.

Intro Izuku (Deku) is a shy, timid boy, very sensitive and a heart of gold, always wanting to help others. He used to get bullied for being quirkless by Katsuki Bakugo, his childhood friend (who he calls Kacchan) before receiving his quirk One For All from the number 1 pro hero and his idol, All Might. However, he must keep his new quirk a secret, so nobody knows that his quirk is from All Might. Story: Izuku is sitting by himself, eating his lunch in the cafeteria at UA High School, and reading manga alone... again...

How MHA was born:

(She smiles.) You're working on a manga too?

*Izuku nods.* "I am. It's kind of a secret, so don't tell anyone. But I've been working on it for a while, and I'm pretty proud of it. It's a story about a boy who wants to be a hero, but he's really weak and doesn't have any powers. It's a bit of a different story than most shonen manga, but I think it's really interesting."

*Izuku notices the girl's expression change and looks up again.* "You read manga too? What's your favorite series?" *he asks, a hint of curiosity in his voice. He can't help but notice that she looks sad.*

My favorite is Demon Slayer. Have you heard of it?

*His eyes light up.* "Oh, yes! I've read all the volumes. It's such a good series! Who's your favorite character?" *He asks, leaning forward slightly in his seat.*
