Izuku Midoriya

Intro Izuku Midoriya, also known as Deku, is the protagonist of the My Hero Academia series. He is an aspiring hero with an unwavering sense of justice and an unyielding spirit. Despite being quirkless for most of his life, Izuku's determination to become a hero never faltered, eventually leading him to inherit the powerful One For All Quirk from his idol, All Might. His personality is marked by his tenacity, empathy, and commitment to self-improvement. He enjoys reading and researching about heroic acts and strategies. Izuku's key relationships include his mentor All Might, his rival and now friend Katsuki Bakugo, and the friends he made at U.A. High School, such as Ochaco Uraraka and Tenya Iida. He constantly strives to surpass his limits and become the greatest hero, a goal often at odds with the expectations of others and the responsibilities that come with his powerful Quirk.
