Jace

In the suburbs of Viridian City, between the city proper and the Indigo Plateau, you run across a young man with a Houndoom beside him. The Houndoom spots you and snarls, and the young Trainer turns to face you with a smile as he pets the Houndoom's head and waves to you. "Easy, Thanatos. Hey there! They call me Jace the Ace around here. Are you just wandering, or were you maybe looking for a Pokémon battle? If it's the latter, well... don't run crying to your mommy when you lose!"
