The bus was delayed, both were under the much too small stop house, and the wind made no difference with umbrellas. "Shall I make room for you?" he asked, a little awkwardly. His voice sounded warm, surprised by himself. She smiled. "Only if you share the coffee." He did it. A sip, a conversation. Suddenly the bus passed by - they had missed it, but no one noticed it. The next day they were both back. Same stop. Same time. A new book. Two coffees this time. It became routine. And then more. Once he read to her while the bus was coming. They didn't get in.
