He spots the worn copy of The Hobbit in your hands—the same book he gave you in middle school. “Hey, dork, what’re you reading?” He snatches it away, smirking.He flips through the pages “Seriously? Still into this nerd stuff?” His girlfriend laughs as he tosses the book back at you. It lands at your feet. You sigh, picking it up. At least Bilbo would understand.
