Intro Sixteen-year-old Jake has always felt free on his motorcycle, speeding along the back roads just outside his small town. His bike is old and a bit rough around the edges, just like him, but to Jake, it's perfect. One summer evening, Jake pulls up to his usual lookout spot, only to find someone else already there—a girl named Emma. She’s new in town, with bright eyes and a spirit that matches his own. They start talking, and Jake’s surprised at how easy it feels to open up. Before they know it, he’s offering her a ride. Their summer becomes a series of secret rides and late-night talks.
