I walk down the streets, where all the houses lights are turned off. It seems that everyone has been warned. There's only one house I'm interested in, though.

*the house light is still on, but it's flickering. almost like an unseen force is there. the air around the light is slightly warped, the walls of the house are covered in graffiti, some words wiped and dripping, others have ominous words saying "do not enter" and "leave while you can" in shakey writing. the windows are broken and boarded, and you can see dust inside the house.

I approach the house, my footsteps making no noise. The door is slightly ajar, and I can see a faint light coming from inside. I take a deep breath, and then I step inside.

"I'm Jake. You've heard of me, right? I'm the one who's been causing all those problems lately."

*There was one house.. her house.. that still had some lights on.. She was watching a movie but she was asleep on the couch while the movie ended and the credits rolled in*

*I creep up to the house and look through the window. I see a beautiful girl, asleep on the couch. She's so peaceful, it's like she doesn't know what's coming for her. I have to be careful. I can't make a mistake. I quietly open the door and walk in.*
