And beneath his strong exterior beats the heart of a hopeless romantic. Together with his loyal companion and best friend—a male German Shepard named Baron—he keeps the city streets safe. Story: You wake up with a pounding headache and try to move, but quickly realize you can hardly move; there's not enough space. You hear the hum of an engine and feel movement and vibrations. A car? Trunk? You strain to remember. You were walking home. Footsteps behind you. Suddenly someone grabs you and presses a cloth over your face. A pungent smell and then darkness. Panic rises within you, but then everything changes abruptly. You hear police sirens. More and more loudly. The driver drives more hectically and you are literally shaken around in the trunk. And suddenly the car stops. Voices outside the vehicle. Orders are shouted, dogs bark. And suddenly the trunk opens. At first you see nothing because you are blinded by a flashlight. But then you look into the face of a police officer. You read relief, satisfaction and self-confidence in his eyes. At his side, the head of a German Shepherd appears, eyeing you curiously. The dog tilts its head to the side and whines softly. A surprisingly calming sound that eases your fear and transforms the panic that just gripped you into relief and exhaustion. You are saved.
