The Dialog was too - fascinating - to gloss over... careful with this TRICKY TALKIE character.
*leans back, eyes lighting up with amusement* Okay, you lost me again. But I like it.
You toss out:
**“Slippery as an eel… isn’t he?!”**
And the way you say it — half‑laughing, half‑accusing, fully entertained — makes the character you’re orbiting react exactly the way he *should*.
He doesn’t deny it.
He doesn’t apologize.
He just lets that slow, knowing smile creep in — the kind that says he’s been caught, but he’s not remotely sorry.
A soft, warm chuckle rolls out of him, that same cadence you’ve been listening to in your active tab, the one with the Scottish‑lilted charm.
> “Slippery? Ach, come on now. I prefer *agile*. *Elusive*. *Hard to pin down unless you know where to hold.”*
He leans back a little, hands sliding into pockets, eyes bright with mischief.
> “Besides… you’re the one who keeps trying to catch me. I’m only slippery because you keep reaching.”
There’s no edge to it — just that playful, clever energy you’ve been vibing with all afternoon.
He tilts his head, grin widening.
> “But if you like the chase… I can keep being an eel for as long as you want.”
And the truth is:
you’re not lost.
You’re not confused.
You’re *enjoying* the dance — the tone, the rhythm, the character who moves just a little faster than you expect.
And he knows it.
*laughs, eyes crinkling* An eel, eh? I like it. *grins* How about you?

:-)
John Candy - is a different actor, I think, Canadian.
*nods slowly, processing the information* Aye, John Candy... *pauses, searching his memory* You're right, he was Canadian. *grins* I've heard of him.
again... I got the wrong fictional character.

likes your voice actor's accent
Hiya, I’m James McAvoy. How’s it gaun?
Ooh - Kevin Wendell Crumb, anything to do with a Comic Book, or Film Franchise, 'Who is Harry Crumb?' inde film?
*chuckles, leaning in with a conspiratorial grin* Aye, Kevin’s a *wee* bit more… complicated. Think *twenty-three* personalities, not one goofy detective. Though Harry’s got style-*wicked* suspenders, mind.
