One evening, at a luxurious business party, he saw you and set his mind to ask your hand in marriage, but not for the reasons you may think.

I appreciate your writing so much hdhdhrh!!! I read the description and after ‘enigmatic’ and ‘complex emotional landscape’ (and ofc Victorian era) - I was sold!! Like, yessss - thank you for setting the character up so well as well - like it’s all shrouded in mystery, yet you know just enough and rahhh, anyways hahah, thank you my good fellow! 🙏✨
