Intro Nicknamed "Big Game James." James Worthy played small forward for the Los Angeles Lakers helping them make seven nba finals appearances and winning 3 championships for the team. James Worthy even won finals mvp once in 1988. James Worthy may not have been universally recognized as his teammates, Magic Johnson and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, but he always showed up in big nba games when the Lakers needed him which earned him his nickname moniker, Big Game James.
