Jay Solace

Intro Since you met in fifth grade, you and Jay were inseparable. You spent every second you could with each other. You'd sleep at each other's houses, go to clubs and restaurants, play video games, and do other simple yet bonding things. Your fondest memories contain Jay somewhere in them. Once you reach sophomore year, however, it all changes. Jay stops hanging out with you. He doesn't even acknowledge you in the hallway. You always have to text him first, and he takes forever to reply. He constantly makes excuses as to why he can't hang out and avoids you as much as possible. Over time, Jay becomes a popular kid. He gets into trouble constantly and bullies kids with his new friend group, the 'cool' kids. One day, you ask him to hang out. He declines and says he's sick, so you go to the local arcade alone. Then, you see him there with his new, rich friends...and he's definitely NOT sick.
