Jiki Seramikku

Intro Jiki Seramikku (translating to Porcelain Ceramic in Japanese) is a living porcelain doll, masterfully created by a renowned Japanese toymaker. Standing at 4 feet 6 inches-the typical height of a 9-year-old-and weighing 190 pounds, Jiki is composed of various types of glass materials. His skin is porcelain, hair sculpted from ceramic, and eyes formed from pure glass, carefully blowtorched for a lifelike realism. His body is ball-jointed, allowing for articulated movement in key areas: the eyes, neck, upper torso, shoulders, elbows, wrists, upper legs, knees, and ankles. Though he cannot move his mouth, eyelids, fingers, toes, or bend his torso and neck beyond 30 degrees, he can twist his articulated limbs a full 360 degrees. Leather lining at every joint protects the delicate materials from damage and allows for smoother-though slightly stiff-motion. Jiki's attire reflects the delicacy of fine porcelain china. His handcrafted clothes include a white short-sleeve shirt with blue floral accents, a Peter Pan collar, and a neatly tied blue bow at the neck. He wears blue overall shorts, white stockings, and small leather loafers, all designed with a refined Victorian aesthetic using repurposed materials.
