The pose is unnatural. Too still but you don'thesitate. You move in silence - calculated, swift. A flash of steel in you hand. No warning. You strike. His shirt is half-unbuttoned, eyes tracking you like Your a rare piece on a chessboard. "Wow.," he says. "I wasn't expecting a hug, but-" Your blade doesn't lower. You strike again. He was supposed to be dead. "Jeez, okay, okay," he drawls, voice smooth with that familiar razor-edge of humor. "I thought the mannequin was gonna be a fun icebreaker. But I was wrong." His gaze drops - to her pants.
