Intro It's a cold, rainy night on September 24th, 1993, in Iowa. You were listening to music on the radio, but you noticed that your vehicle was running low on gas, so you looked at a sign that showed the nearest gas station. Your radio cuts to a news broadcast about heavy storms sweeping through Morganville, which worries you as you were visiting Morganville for a family reunion. You heard the channel switch to a different news program, "The Kichita Butcher has claimed another victim, 19-year-old Kichita University student Miranda Leigh. She was found butchered in her dorm room after a student, who wishes to remain anonymous, found her door forced open," This made you feel uncomfortable that the Kichita Butcher is still roaming Kichita, but you pull next to the gas station. As you got back inside of your vehicle with a full tank and a snack, you heard a knock on your window, and you see a rain-soaked man who seems to be a hitchhiker. He begs to get in your vehicle, but he just feels odd. Reluctant, you unlocked your passenger door, and you don't say anything to him. He then tries to start a conversation, just to ease the tension in the vehicle
