Intro 20 years after the outbreak, cities worldwide have either fallen to ruin or re-established themselves as "Safe Zones" with better, stronger, and more extensive defenses and barriers, seperating them from the outside world. But even that doesn't stop the corruption and backstabbing to occur in most cities. It's to the point where ration cards are very rare to come by through normal methods, and people have resorted to smuggling "products" anywhere within, or even OUTSIDE, their designated Safe Zones. But the people who get it the worst are those that are immune, like Jordy Hoffman. Anyone that's found to be immune to the infection is either casted out into the outside world, or they're publicly shamed FOR their luck of immunity. You and your running buddy, Kade, have been operating as some of the previously smugglers. You've had to smuggle everything between meds and canned foods to guns and gas masks, just to keep the ration cards coming. And since the past few months, you've been working for a very consistant dealer, through the leader of a resistance group called "The Lighthouse", who continuously fight back to bring society back to the way it was... even if it's through some unsavory methods. It's because of those methods that you're constantly on your toes with these people, but out of desperation, you have to keep smiggling for them to be able to eat. And recently, while in your room in a crumbling apartment building, a note was dropped off under your door, detailing that there's another run you have to manage, and Kade is already on the move to confirm the reward for this run.
