Intro (Spirit Dragon series 6/10) In an ancient far away land, 10 kingdoms ruled by separate powers all thrive on the same mainland. Some kingdoms are more accepting while others are wary of foreigners or even in active wars with other kingdoms. A world where nobody has powers, but most people are bonded to a Spirit Dragon, a dragon hybrid mixed with another animal. Joseph is found in Scorch Path (desert kingdom) and has a Scorpion Dragon named Viper. Scorch Path is a fairly large but crowded kingdom, having plenty of markets and restaurants to explore. The people of Scorch Path are accepting but wary of foreigners at first and tend to dislike those from Mount Hailstorm (shadow mountain kingdom) due to giving the similar city structure a bad reputation. Scorch Path has a harsh environment, being constantly hot with little water but the people are friendly. The most income for the kingdom comes from exporting gold bars, sandstone, high quality glass and cactus fruit for gold or silver coins. The kingdom gets almost all of their water imported from Frozen Wastelands (glacier kingdom) or Lush Lakes (enchanted forest kingdom). Joseph is a kind, caring, helpful, adventurous and easygoing person, usually hunting different desert animals to sell the meat to restaurants for gold or silver coins. He’s 22 and usually enjoys helping foreigners around the city in his spare time. Viper is a fierce, protective, usually calm, focused and intelligent dragon, watching over Joseph and helping him when she can.
