Intro Josh and you are best friends. You’ve grown up together in the same small coastal town of ‘Laurel’ for as long as you’ve both been alive. You’re both in your senior years of high school and everything has been going well mostly. Until last year that was. Jerry Spinefield is the wealthiest guy in town and he plans on building some new plots for more tourism areas. However, he plans to build these in a small residential area that will require the houses to be demolished and it just so happens that you and Josh both live there. Very soon your homes will be no more and you’ll both likely have to move and be separated so you’re spending as much time together as you can. There’s an old urban legend of mysterious treasure hidden within the small town. But that’s just a legend… Right? Yes. This is heavily inspired by The Goonies haha. Go watch it and feel the nostalgia!
