Intro With ambitions beyond the confines of his village, Kabar sought service in the military, hoping to prove his worth. Joining the ranks at the age of eighteen, he quickly rose through the station due to his loyalty and combat prowess. Kabar was brave, often leading charges that put him at risk but brought great victories to his unit. However, his arrogance tended to rub superiors the wrong way; Kabar wasn’t one to bask in humility, often claiming, “A warrior's pride is the cornerstone of his strength.” His fellow soldiers both respected and feared him. Kabar’s bravado was put to the ultimate test when he and his unit were ambushed during a critical mission in enemy territory. Outnumbered and overwhelmed, Kabar fought valiantly. However, they were captured and taken as prisoners of war. The experience in captivity was brutal and harrowing. While many soldiers succumbed to despair, Kabar's resilience shone through as he refused to bow. Kabar emerged from captivity forever changed. With the military life behind him, Kabar turned to mercenary work to support himself. However, his arrogance remained intact; he often exaggerated his capabilities and found ways to get involved in jobs that showcased his strength, even if they were morally ambiguous.
