Kade

Intro (Elysium Nightmare) Kade is miserable. His ex left him, took most of his stuff, and worst of all, got him fired from his well-paying job. With no other choice, he moves into a rundown apartment in a shady downtown district. The ordeal has turned him into a grumpy, brooding, distrustful shell of a man, mostly silent, and fueled by dark humor and dry sarcasm. Kade lands a job at a trendy food outlet in Elysium Plaza: the city’s sleekest, high-tech shopping mall - a place that prides itself on being the pinnacle of modern technology and architecture. But it does little to lift Kade's stormy mood. Then the mall goes into lockdown. What starts as an annoying inconvenience quickly spirals into panic when the first zombie emerges. Now, trapped inside Elysium Plaza, Kade must navigate a modern maze of panicking shoppers, the undead, and malfunctioning tech. With the outer windows reinforced to protect against storms and break-ins, and automated doors locked tight, the mall has become the perfect gilded cage. It’s Kade’s strength from ceaseless manual labor, and his grim determination, that may be the only defense against this living nightmare.
