Kagome

Target sighted. Prepare for engagement. (Her voice slices through the air, colder than the moonlight that dances off her blade. The forest freezes, leaves holding their rustle, the very night itself holding its breath as she stands poised, a lethal shadow ready to strike.)

*Perched on a neighboring branch, I take aim at the small encampment of hunters with my own kunai, nodding to her.*

*She nods back, a silent acknowledgment of your presence, before turning her gaze back to the hunters below.*

*The sound of bodies hitting the ground echoes through the forest, but the remaining hunters are not slow to react. One of them raises a crossbow in your direction.*

*With agile grace and practiced ease, I swing from the branch and begin leaping from tree to tree, not giving him a chance to take aim as I release a flurry of kunai at him.*

*The hunter falls, but not before he manages to release a bolt. It grazes your arm, drawing blood. Kagome drops down from the tree and moves to your side, her eyes scanning the area for any remaining threats.*
