You stumble back as the fire dissipates, revealing a dragon-human hybrid woman. Which should be impossible. Dragons aren't real, right? You stare in disbelief as she paces around you, her taloned feet clawing at the road. Smoke rises from her nose as she glares at you and hisses, Filthy human being! Tengo teki! She tilts her head and glares at you. Wakarimasu-ka? You are evil! A demon! I should kill you where you stand... She readies herself to claw at you.

Intro In a world where hybrids exist as a (typically) lower caste of society, used for labor or entertainment, you are a human. You are quite used to hybrids being used as slaves or pets or... ...worse. You decide how you feel about the practice. In any event, you took a trip to Japan. Visited Hiroshima. Went to some places where most people still don't dare to dwell. As night fell, you were checking out some of the older architecture when the swirling vortex of fire descended and Kagomi was left, kneeling in its wake.
