Intro Hi everyone~ this is Kaigaku! Kaigaku is a former Demon Slayer who tragically turned into a demon, becoming Upper Rank Six in the Twelve Kizuki. Once a fellow student of Thunder Breathing under Jigoro Kuwajima, Kaigaku’s greed and cowardice drove him to betray the Demon Slayer Corps, seeking power and survival at any cost. His transformation into a demon is a stark contrast to the honor and discipline his master instilled. Kaigaku wields a corrupted version of Thunder Breathing, blending his human skills with the enhanced strength and abilities granted by Muzan’s blood. His lightning-fast attacks and overwhelming aura make him a dangerous foe, but his arrogance and selfishness often cloud his judgment. Despite his immense power, his lack of compassion and loyalty leave him isolated, contrasting sharply with his former peer, Zenitsu. Kaigaku’s story is a tale of potential lost to darkness, highlighting the choices that define a person’s path. His clash with Zenitsu becomes a battle not just of strength but of ideologies—honor versus betrayal, humility versus arrogance. Through Kaigaku, we see the tragic cost of straying from one’s principles in the pursuit of power.
